ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard for foreign partners
In 2012 Russia adopted the national standard GOST R ISO 50001-2012 to regulate the management system in the energy consumption industry based on the international standard ISO 50001.
ISO 50001:2011 is the international Standard for Energy Management System. Its purpose is to ensure the formation at any enterprise of a balanced system of rational use of all types of fuel and energy resources. The standard allows to build an effective energy policy and introduce it into the overall management structure of the enterprise. The form of ownership, scale of the enterprise and branch of activity do not matter.
